Tala the Amazing Hiking Pug
Tala Hayden was born on New Year’s eve in 1999. She began her hiking career in the state parks of New Jersey shortly thereafter, before moving to California to embark upon many exciting adventures in the Angeles National Forest outside Los Angeles. This webpage is a testament to her intrepidness and hardiness, as it documents many of her significant forays into the wilderness.
Tala has big plans for future outdoor activity. During the 2004-2005 hiking season, Tala plans to embark upon expeditions to Piru Creek, Allison Mine, and Fish Fork Falls. She also dreams of one day hiking the Pacific Crest Trail from Mexico to Canada.
